HeartSaver AED Training Course

The HeartSaver AED Course teaches CPR, AED use, relief of choking in adults and children, and infant CPR and relief of choking, and the use of a barrier device for all ages. Furthermore, the Heartsaver AED Course teaches all lay rescuers when to phone 911, how to give CPR, how to use an AED, and how to provide relief of choking.  The course targets people who are expected to respond to cardiovascular emergencies in the workplace.  The course may be used to teach CPR to all lay rescuers who are required to obtain a course completion card-a credential-documenting completion of a CPR course that includes use of an AED. Intended for those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirments - All lay responders, such as firefighters, police, airline personnel, security guards, employees in the workplace, family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death, other lay rescuers, and those who may have a need to respond to a cardiac emergency.
